LALS M.A. student Jennifer Ullmann Teixeria awarded 1st Place in the Dick Millett Graduate Student Paper Competition at MALAS
Introduction
Jennifer Ullmann Teixeira, a second-year M.A. student in LALS, received 1st place in the Dick Millett Graduate Student Paper Competition for the paper she presented at the Midwest Association for Latin American Studies (MALAS). Her paper, titled “Salas de Aula Brasileiras-Venezolanas: Children’s Perspectives on Venezuelan Migration and Schooling in Southern Brazil,” is based on her research with Venezuelan migrant children in Brazil, and is part of the work she is completing for her LALS M.A. project. Congratulations Jennifer!
