Jordan is a Chicana of mixed heritage originally from Chicago but currently lives in a nearby suburb. As an undergrad at UIC, she received her degrees in Anthropology, Latin American and Latino Studies, and a minor in Disability and Human Development. She has participated in numerous projects, positions, and campaigns, including being the President of the Native American & Indigenous Student Organization and a long-term position at the Disability Cultural Center.

Jordan uses practices of feminist, anti-racist, LGBT+ affirming, anti-capitalist values within her activism and research. Her MA project focuses on how using arts-based workshops can be spaces for disabled Latinx people in higher education to explore their identities and build community and publish a collective zine. She hopes to grow as an organizer, researcher, and educator.
