In May 2019, she graduated Cum Laude with High Distinction and LAS Honors from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with her B.A. in Latina/Latino Studies and B.S. in Clinical/Community Psychology. Her undergraduate senior honors thesis explored how family, peer groups, and media influence Latina body-image construction, which she presented on at the Latina/Latino Studies Major Symposium. At UIC, she plans to continue researching this topic as an Access Fellow.
