About

Daniel Strom is a second-year M.A. student. He received his B.A. from North Park University in history, politics, and government. After graduating, he worked in a number of government offices and on campaigns. His research interests are in Puerto Rican history, especially that of the diaspora, Caribbean history, and histories of social movements. In addition to previously working as a research assistant and now as a teaching assistant, Daniel works for Digitizing the Barrio, an archival project of the Puerto Rican Cultural Center. In his free time, Daniel enjoys biking, watching and discussing films, and volunteering for causes he's passionate about.
