LALS hosts teach-in highlighting migrant arrivals and activism in Chicago
On February 28, 2024, the Department of Latin American and Latino Studies at UIC held an event that focused on the migrant arrivals to Chicago. The event was to bring awareness and to allow students, faculty, and staff of UIC to learn about the history and the drive for such an increase in migrants to the United States. LALS faculty were part of the panel where they provided their expertise on the matter.
